Why Open Up in 2023?
So many reasons that now is the perfect time to talk about dental health.
No time like the present.
The sooner you pay attention to your dental health, the fewer problems you will face in the future. We advise being proactive rather than reactive.
In 2023 Dental technology is amazing.
Today, with modern digital videography, radiography, and 3 dimensional scans, dentists and patients can see the condition of teeth and gums. Of course, this makes for better and more predictable outcomes.
Also, you can know and see when your teeth and gums are healthy. Clearly, this is a big incentive to work to keep them looking good.
Finally, you may love technology. Come in and let us show you a 3D printed model of your mouth!

Care for your teeth today and they will take care of you later. The days of expecting dentures and tooth loss as we age are long gone.
Today is the best time to learn about keeping your teeth forever.
A little prevention today saves a tremendous amount of time and money and your teeth.

Our Rock Hill, SC Dental Team

The ages and experiences of our dental team help them relate to any and all questions or concerns about dentistry.
Dr. Bill Cranford is a baby boomer. He remembers the “pre-technology” dental offices of the past. Thus he understands why many people around his age have dental fear due to past experiences. And sadly, he had family members who lost all their teeth due to lack of attention to dental health.
Dr. Elizabeth Cranford Robinson grew up in the 1980s and 1990s. Then, dentists treated her knowing that her teeth would last a lifetime with proper care. She advanced her training in extractions and cosmetic dental treatment with a residency after dental school. Best of all, her experience as the mother of three small children helps her relate to parents and children of all ages.
Dr. Will Cranford is a recent dental school graduate. While at MUSC, he studied under leaders in the dental field using the latest in materials and technology. Understandably, he enjoys showing patients what is now possible using cameras, computers, 3D printing, and modern dental techniques. Who knows what improvements he will see in his dental career?
Our team of dentists, hygienists, and patient administrators can help ease any apprehensions you have about dentistry. Obviously, they are well trained and love what they do.
Best of all, they want to explain dentistry and give you a healthy lifetime smile.
There are astounding changes since I began practicing dentistry in 1984—and tremendous improvements in the patient experience. Today patients can see and understand what the dental providers will do to improve their oral health.

But Isn’t Dentistry Boring?
Nothing stays the same in dentistry. And every mouth (and even every tooth) is different. Actually, we never get bored when we see something new every day.
Our patients make dentistry even more interesting in 2023 because we can use technology to show on a computer screen exactly what makes their teeth and mouth unique.
Even better, we can print models to show exactly how their teeth would look after a smile makeover.

Here is why dentistry never bores this dentist:
- Opportunity to change smiles and thus improve lives
- Long term, meaningful relationships with people from all around Rock Hill
- Great dental team that loves working together to serve people
- Constant change in new dental materials, techniques, equipment, and medicine
- Serving a fantastic community here in my hometown, Rock Hill, SC
Modern dentistry is amazing. Using technology, we are able to do procedures that I had not dreamed about when Cranford Dental opened in 1984. The patient benefits as work is customized to fit well and last a long time.
