Do I need dentures?

Dentures may be right for you if your teeth are missing due to gum disease or extreme decay. A denture is a replacement for missing teeth that you can remove from your mouth.

Our dentists recommend Full dentures when all the natural teeth are missing. If you have remaining healthy teeth you may get good results with a partial denture.

You may consider a partial denture and a dental bridge if you have healthy teeth in your mouth. The partial denture is removable, while the bridge stays in your mouth.

Dentures at Cranford Dental

Dentists Bill Cranford, Elizabeth Robinson, and Will Cranford believe that high quality dentures pay in the long run. And the many patients who are happy with their natural looking dentures agree with the dentists.

Their goal: Make the best dentist possible and make sure it fits right and looks natural.

They start with a full evaluation of your teeth and gums to make sure that dentures are your best option.

Construction of conventional full dentures takes between 3 and 5 visits to our office. The dentists at Cranford Dental work closely with you to choose the right color, shape, and spacing of teeth.

Their goal is for you to leave their office looking like you have your natural teeth.

Hand holding quality denture

Your mouth will adjust to a well made denture over time. The dentures will begin to feel and function more like your real teeth.

Should I take time to get a Quality Custom Denture?

My experience with dentures at Sherer Dental Lab was invaluable. I learned exactly how dentures should fit and work together. And I saw the benefit or working with a good lab to make a high quality denture.

Dr. Will Cranford

A quality custom denture is worth the time and materials that the dentist invests in the denture. You will not regret getting a denture that is exactly right for you.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures go in the mouth immediately after teeth extraction. The dentist measures and makes the denture before removing your teeth. Thus you will not have to go a day without teeth.

As soon as your mouth heals the dentist will adjust the denture to assure comfort and fit.

Your dentist or dental assistant will instruct you on how to use and care for your dentures at your final appointment. She will make sure that you are happy with your teeth.

With proper care your denture should look good for many years.

Contact Cranford Dental for a consultation to see what would best replace missing teeth in your mouth.
