Liddy Learns: Nice People Work at the Dental Office

March 22, 2022 by Dr. Elizabeth Cranford Robinson Leave a Comment

Dr. Robinson tells children about jobs in dentistry. And Liddy shows why the dental office is a fun place.

Children should know: Nice people work at dental offices.

Dr. Robinson talks to four year olds about dental jobs

Dr. Robinson loves working in her Rock Hill dental office. And she wants to encourage young children to consider the dental profession when they grow up.

Therefore she was happy that Westminster Catawba Christian School invited her to career week to tell about jobs in the dental field.

Liddy Robinson is in the four year old preschool class. Of course, she was excited that her mom (also her dentist) was coming to speak.

At Westminster Catawba Christian School: Liddy smiled for a picture with her teacher, Mrs. Amber Ingram, and her mom, Dr. Elizabeth Cranford Robinson.

Children may like working in dental office one day

Dr. Robinson decided when she was in third grade at Westminster Catawba Christian School that she wanted to be a dentist when she grew up.

She knew she would like working in a dental office.

As a young girl she enjoyed spending time with her dentist (and Dad) Dr. Bill Cranford. And he always talked about how much he liked his job.

Also, the ladies who worked in the office seemed happy and were cheerful and nice to her. They must like their jobs too.

Dental workers wear uniforms and give beautiful smiles

Mrs. Ingram had a good time showing her four and five year old students what dentists wear. Dr. Robinson dressed her up with a white jacket and funny glasses.

The children smiled big as they watched their teacher become a dentist. Just like a real dentist, Mrs. Ingram gave them smiles when she put on the uniform.

Next Dr. Robinson let Mrs. Ingram work on her teeth, just like she would do in a dental office.

Of course, this was funny to everyone. Even Dr. Robinson laughed as she opened her mouth.

Dr. Robinson’s video explained the different dental office jobs

Liddy helped her mom make a video to show the different dental jobs. In the video, the nice workers at Cranford Dental showed Liddy what they did each day.

They all were friendly and kind to Liddy. And they smiled and laughed while working.

The best part about dental office workers is that they get to make people smile all day. They spoke to everyone and asked how they were doing. Best of all, they gave prized to the patients when they finished working on their teeth.

Liddy may want to work at a dental office when grows up. She dressed as a dentist for career week to try out the uniform.
